As Floor Manager, you’ll act as the duty manager on shift, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations while consistently delivering outstanding service. You’ll play a key role in supporting the General Manager with team development and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the front-of-house team and manage all aspects of venue operations during your shift
- Act as duty manager and be the go-to person for team and guest issues
- Support with recruitment, onboarding, and probation management for servers
- Create and manage rotas, checklists, and operational compliance
- Coach, mentor, and develop the floor team to ensure top-tier service delivery
- Champion a vibrant, inclusive, and guest-focused atmosphere
You:
- Previous experience managing teams in high-volume, guest-led hospitality or leisure venues
- Confident in recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
- A strong floor presence – leading by example and motivating your team
- Exceptional organisational skills with a passion for people development
- A natural problem-solver with a calm, positive attitude under pressure
