I’m looking for an experienced and motivated HR Administrator to join the team in Blackburn.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a pivotal role within the HR department, where you’ll support all aspects of human resource management, from day-to-day admin to recruitment, payroll assistance, and employee relations.

Role:

In this role, you’ll be involved in the full spectrum of HR activity. You’ll ensure our systems are up to date, compliance is watertight, and the people processes run smoothly – all while being a friendly, approachable point of contact for employee queries.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing HR-related documents such as offer letters, contracts, and onboarding paperwork
  • Maintaining and updating employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation
  • Managing employee compliance training, using the tracker to keep everything up to date and producing quarterly compliance reports
  • Supporting the recruitment process – advertising roles via Indeed and the ATS, screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and attending where needed
  • Assisting with employee relations by offering initial support and guidance on HR-related matters
  • Helping with payroll administration and ensuring timely, accurate data for monthly submissions

Experience:

  • CIPD Level 3 qualified (or higher)
  • 2-5 years’ HR experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills – you’ll be juggling multiple priorities
