I’m on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join an award-winning team in the heart of Liverpool. The restaurant is renowned for seasonally inspired dishes and modern cooking techniques, using only the very best ingredients.

The Role:
As our Sous Chef, you’ll play a key leadership role in the kitchen. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations
- Leading the team through busy services with confidence and control
- Managing prep and ensuring smooth, efficient kitchen flow
- Overseeing food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Helping develop seasonal menus and specials
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Managing stock, ordering, and wastage control
- Coaching and developing junior chefs and kitchen team member
You:
- You’ve got a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Sous Chef
- You’re confident leading and motivating a team in a fast-paced kitchen
- You’ve got solid stock management and kitchen organisation skills
- You have real expertise in Spanish cuisine, especially tapas
- You’re hands-on, calm under pressure, and love the buzz of service
